Responsibilities:

• As a SharePoint Developer at GDIT, I will deliver simple solutions to complex problems. I will tailor cutting-edge solutions to meet the unique requirements of our clients, prioritizing the end user’s experience while fostering my own career growth. My key responsibilities will include:
• Researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
• Analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems that meet those needs
• Performing software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to fulfill business requirements
• Providing analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
• Advising on software or system documentation for optimal future maintenance and updates
• Working on critical, high-impact projects that contribute to national security

To succeed, I will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline, alongside 5+ years of related experience. My technical skills should include building and supporting all aspects of SharePoint from 2013 to 2019, creating and customizing SharePoint workflows and forms using Nintex, and utilizing PowerShell SharePoint module and scripting. I should also have experience with SharePoint sites, site collections, master pages, web parts, and other web development tools.

I will work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred skills include Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint development. The position is located onsite in Chantilly, VA, and requires US citizenship.
