KRE Security is seeking retired Law Enforcement Officers for local School districts as needed during the school year.

Job Summary:
We are seeking retired law enforcement professionals to serve as per diem school security officers in Pennsylvania. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible and reassuring security presence on school grounds.
• Monitor and control access to school buildings and facilities.
• Respond to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with school administration and local law enforcement.
• Enforce school policies and procedures related to security and safety.
• Conduct routine security checks of the premises.

Qualifications:

• Retired law enforcement officer with prior experience in security or public safety.
• Must possess a current ACT 235 Certification (Lethal Weapons Training).
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required school clearances , including but not limited to:
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
  • FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and take decisive action in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous LEO, Veterans
• Additional certifications in crisis intervention or de-escalation training.

Compensacin: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour KRE Security
